Weekend Fun

We had such a great weekend! We got to spend Saturday with one of my sisters, her husband, and their son. Sophie loves getting to spend time with her cousin Parker! We met up at Lowrey Park Zoo, which was a lot of fun. Sophie was dressed for the part in her zoo animal shirt, jeans and lion socks.

Sophie and Brian went into the petting zoo area of the children's part of the zoo. I think she actually enjoyed it. If you notice... she is no longer wearing her fun zoo clothes. Someone (me) forgot to pack a back up outfit, and someone (Sophie) pooped all over her clothes bad enough to need to take them off and possibly never wear them again... :/

Then on Sunday, it was the kickoff race for the 2012 NASCAR season, the Daytona 500. Sophie was dressed in her Dale Jr. gear that Brian's mom got her and was ready to watch. Unfortunately for them, it rained out and was postponed to tonight; fortunately for me, I got a two hour nap while the two of them waited to see if they would race. I swear this kid had pants on in the morning when I dressed her... not sure where they ended up.

Sophie turned 12 weeks old today... for being only 12 weeks old, she sure has experienced a lot. It's too bad she won't remember any of it, but it's a good thing Mommy and Daddy will. :)
